At Tom Thumb Nursery: The Willows and Reffley, we understand that choosing the right nursery for your child is an important decision. A decision that will mould your child and prepare them for school. As a term-time childcare provision, we offer 40 years of experience in providing a early years care, accompanied by an excellent long-standing professional nursery team to inspire, empower and help children grow.
Our Story
Tom Thumb Nursery started in 1982 as a playgroup on the grounds of Alderman Jackson School.
For many years Tom Thumb Nursery operated from the grounds at the school however, in 2013 the opportunities for growth were available and we transitioned the early years childcare provisions to The Willows, where our main home is today.
In 2008 Tom Thumb Nursery took over Reffley preschool, which we all know as Tom Thumb Nursery: Reffley today. Both Tom Thumb Nursery: The Willows and Tom Thumb Nursery: Reffley follow the same principles, and aims to help children reach their full potential.
Tom Thumb Nursery: The Willows and Tom Thumb Nursery: Reffley, both have dedicated nursery teams committed to providing exceptional care, education and support for your children during the crucial early years.

We are awarded the Millie’s Mark accreditation, the first in West Norfolk!
